Red Rising by Pierce Brown. This is the favorite book of a colleague; so, I had to read it. It's a sort of Hunger Games meets Percy Jackson, but he swears it's just the first that's like this. It was a fun read, and he says they get better as you go with more space opera. I read this on my Kindle. The Amazon link is to the paperback, and the book is also discoverable in Libby.
